Internal PageRank

Reported by Dan Swanson | October 26th, 2020 @ 10:57 AM

Internal linking for keyword optimization:

Just like on the web, a PageRank is calculated internally.

It plays a role how often a page of the web is linked, for example, regular pages like index or contact are usually linked quite often within the website. The same applies, for example, to subpages that are linked directly from the navigation.

An internal PageRank is calculated from the links between the pages; this calculation also flows into the ranking for the Internet.

If a keyword page is not linked frequently or only once, Google assumes that this page may be less important within the page. So you can assume that the keyword page is given less weight.

There are hardly any tools (neither online nor offline) that measure the page's internal PageRank.

But if you worked with Hello Engines professional or AESOPS (i.e. the SEO Suite - not entry software) when you were a beginner, you will find the right tool under the menu item: “Extras / PageRank calculation” (scanlevel also more than 2. or 3rd link level so that you can measure all pages).

After the analysis, it is shown how often a page is linked internally and what PageRank this page has within your web (including incoming and outgoing links).

The TrustRank algorithm is a method for evaluating the quality of Internet projects. It is used for semi-automatic classification of the quality of a page, to find spam pages and to help search engines evaluate individual websites. An experienced SEO agency can also help you understand.

Link building with the help of the Trustrank procedure is that websites that are linked by trustworthy sites are themselves trustworthy, while spam sites are rarely or never linked by trustworthy sites. If your own domain has many good trust links, trust is of course also inherited. Your own domain gains trustworthiness in the search engine network. The closer you are to the side with the good trust, the more trust you inherit yourself. The further away the link source is, the less trust you get. Therefore, one can assume that many links from untrustworthy sources also lead to your own site being put in a bad light.

The trust tank is automatically determined based on the link structure after the link sources have been determined.
